Introducing the reinvented Anchor, a traditional pub with Thai kitchen, situated in Burwell, Cambridgeshire.
After completing a ‘light touch’ refurbishment in the summer of 2022, we were instructed to complete the second phase which was a complete scheme to overhaul this pub and give the business the transformation it deserved.
Providing a full design package we completed a range of services to make sure the project was as seamless and co-ordinated as possible during its 4 week refurbishment.

Undertaking the project management from build and fit out stage, through to the final finishing touches, meant this scheme was delivered exactly as it had been intended.

The project required a range of design services from space planning, a complete re-design and build of a new bar, and reworking zones to include new fixed seating areas. The scheme retained the pubs original features and character, whilst subtle cues to its Thai food offering added to its charm.

All elements of the pub refurbishment and interior fit out were managed, costed, and designed to fit the set budget.
The Anchor project resulted in a stunning, yet humble design that offers charm, distinct functional areas for food and drink, and a welcoming feel that means customers choose to visit more often and stay longer.
